Soichi Terada: Sounds From The Far East Vinyl 2LP

Timely compilation of Japanese house cuts from Soichi Terada and his prolific Far East Recordings imprint. Heads might recognize Soichi's name from the classic Nami Shimada cut he produced and Larry Levan subsequently remixed ("Sunshower"), but there is so much more to discover in his catalog. You can thank Hunee and Rush Hour for putting together this excellent selection of Far East Recordings cuts that shines new light on Terada and his peers. Includes the rare instrumental version of the aforementioned Nami Shimada cut "Sun Showered," the killer "Low Tension" alternate take with Manabu Nagayama, the funky "Saturday Love Sunday," the acidic techno of "Hohai Beats" and "Good Morning," plus cuts from Shinichiro Yokota. Well recommended.

  • black double vinyl pressing
  • includes obi strip
  • printed inner sleeves
  • original release year: 2015
  • music label: Rush Hour 2025
